Mr Anniversary Gift

Niche Marketing & The Internet

2006, and here I am with a business that is a 100% internet business. It's funny when a few local customers first find us on the internet they always tell us something like "I had to go online and search the world to find that you're 15 minutes away from me!". But niche businesses that couldn't survive as a bricks-n-mortar business can thrive because of the internet. We've been creating themed wedding anniversary gifts online since 2001 and within a few months we had shipped to all 50 States, many foreign countries, and to our military on active duty wherever they might be. Thru the wonders of the internet we also get orders from military on active duty to send to their loved ones at home. What the internet provides for businesses in a niche is exposure and accessibility to a world of their niche customers, rather than just a neigborhood.

There are roughly 12.5 million couples in the USA celebrating a Wedding Anniversary years 1 thru 15 (our Niche). So far we've created for over 15,000 of them...many more to come!

5 year anniversary and it's day 1 all over again!

day 1. We just celebrated our 5th Anniversary of being online with JustPaperRoses.com, and with the launch of our brand new website on March 11th is like Day 1 all over again! We hope you like what you see and we'll be working for several more months to upgrade the quality of what you see there and adding new products too.

I didn't set out to be Mr. Anniversary Gift. I'm an Origami artist and created a fold out Origami greeting card in 1993. I thought I was going to be in the greeting card business. By 2000 the business had morphed into JustPaperRoses, Inc. I was just trying to sell my fold out cards and Origami Orchids online when I put JustPaperRosesĀ® online too. People started buying for their 1st Paper Wedding Anniversary gift and it was then that I started to understand I was marketing to a niche. Then I receive my first "...she cried..." testimonial. The rest as they say (who is "they" anyway?) is history - we just passed our 14,000th customer served.

I've always been creative when it came to buying gifts for the women in my life. There were too many times in my past when I didn't have money to buy gifts, so I became very creative with making gifts. Now, at this moment, I understand that I'm in the business of helping people enjoy a romantic wedding anniversary celebration with an appropriately themed anniversary gift. So, you keep your marriage going and we'll be there year after year for you on your anniversary!
