Texas Love Last 60 Years
Col. Ray and Bobbie Brock of Burbank will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with friends, and family at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. March 30 at the Pasco American Legion.
They were married March 28, 1948, in their home in Littlefield, Texas, and moving later to the Tri-Cities in 1960.
Bobbie worked for Seattle First Bank for 12 years and is a co-owner of Three Rivers Auction. She was a 4-H leader and member of a Wednesday morning craft club and the 2 Rivers Riding Club.
Ray is co-owner of Three Rivers Auction, has auctioned animals for 47 years at the Benton Franklin Fair for 4-H. Ray was also inducted into the Washington Auction Hall of Fame in 1980.
Ray is a charter member of the 2 Rivers Riding Club.
Bobbie and Ray are also active in charity auctions for churches and other nonprofit organizations.
