If it’s old ivory then your purchase is just encouraging the ivory business. We found an alternative – it’s called the Tagua Nut. Our JustTaguaNutRoses™ are carved from a hardened Tagua Nut. In this form they are not edible. A Tagua Nut is like a little coconut which is dried in the Ecuadorian sun for many months and then it’s carved into birds, animals, flowers and other objects.
